Privacy Policy
Loopit Live is built to keep your creative process entirely in your hands. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1 · Information We Collect
Data you provide directly
Loopit Live does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use the app. We do not collect your name, email address, or any identifying information through the app itself.
Audio recordings
Any audio you record using Loopit Live is stored locally on your device. Audio data is never transmitted to our servers or any third party. You have full ownership and control over your recordings.
Usage data
Loopit Live does not include its own analytics or tracking SDK. If you have enabled Apple's optional "Share App Analytics" setting on your device, Apple may share aggregate, anonymized usage statistics with us through App Store Connect. This data cannot identify you individually. For details, see Apple's Privacy Policy.
Crash reports
If you have enabled crash reporting on your device, Apple may send us anonymized crash logs to help us improve stability. These logs do not contain personal information or audio data.
2 · How We Use Information
The limited, anonymous information we may receive through Apple is used solely to:
- Identify and fix software bugs
- Understand general usage patterns to improve the app
- Ensure compatibility with new OS versions
We do not use any information for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.
3 · Microphone Access
Loopit Live requests access to your device's microphone to record audio. This permission is only used while you are actively recording within the app. Audio is processed locally and never leaves your device without your explicit action (e.g., using the system share sheet).
You can revoke microphone access at any time in your device's Settings.
4 · In-App Purchases
In-app purchases, if offered, are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information. Apple's payment and privacy practices apply to all transactions.
5 · Third-Party Services
Loopit Live supports loading Audio Unit (AU) plugins developed by third parties. These plugins run locally on your device within Loopit Live's process. We are not responsible for the data practices of third-party plugin developers.
6 · Data Retention & Deletion
Since we do not collect personal data, there is no data to retain or delete on our end. All app data (projects, sessions, recordings) is stored on your device and can be deleted by uninstalling the app or managing your device storage.
7 · Children's Privacy
Loopit Live is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
8 · Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
